How is the use of Cannabis going to impact my rights as a Canadian adult?

The federal government has created a one-pager to get you familiar with what you can or can't do under the new laws. It describes the new allowed rules about possession, purchase and consumption, home cultivation and medical licences. It also highlights some new prohibited activities that carry some hefty fines. Driving within two hours of having an illegal level of drugs can land you a $1,000 fine to life imprisonment. Giving or selling cannabis to youth can get you up to 14-years in jail. Get familiar with the law and become a responsible cannabis user.
